Member Support Specialist (Summer Seasonal)

Job Overview
uShip is seeking a talented and energetic individual to join the Customer Operations team as a Member Support Specialist for the summer. This individual will work directly with the Member Support team and Manager to enhance all areas of member support and involvement. If you have an interest in learning more about e-commerce marketplaces, and are a motivated, smart, and driven individual, this may be the right position for you.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the Member & Community Support team on member communications and outreach
- Educate customers on uShip’s products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve member account issues
Job Requirements:
- Customer service/support and inbound call experience in a related industry
- Ability to understand and respond to customers’ needs in a timely manner via email, phone and online forums
- Eager to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, often with minimal supervision
- Internet savvy and well versed in running or using transaction based internet sites
- Strong written and oral communication skills are an absolute must
- Flexibility – evening and weekend hours may be required
- Creative problem solving skills – ability to think outside the box
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Extremely detail oriented
- Highly self-motivated
