The Information Security Incident Response Analyst position’s primary responsibility is providing expertise on key information security related activities. This person will be responsible for intrusion prevention, detection and response, vulnerability management, penetration testing, forensics and log management.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The following are some of the activities you would be performing: 

• Participate in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture
• Participate in Risk assessments
• Monitor all security solutions for efficient and appropriate operations
• Review audit logs for security incidents.
• Staying up to date with current vulnerabilities, attacks, and countermeasures.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Security monitoring practices
• Security event categorization and severity assignments
• Security monitoring and incident response integrated work flows
• Conduct digital forensics
• Automate whenever possible
• Any other duties assigned by management

 WHAT YOU NEED:

• At least 5 years’ experience in Information Security
• A degree or formal training in Information Security
• Previous experience on a Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC) or a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Experience with Anti-Virus, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Vulnerability Management
• Security Information and Event Management (SEIM) experience.
• Familiarity with various network and host-based security tools.
