Partner Campaign Specialist
BigCommerce, named a “Best Place to Work” in Austin in 2017 is looking for a Partner Campaign Specialist to create and drive marketing execution across BigCommerce’s partner ecosystem. The ideal candidate is an energetic campaigns marketer and team player who effectively executes collaborative campaigns across internal teams and partner stakeholders.

- Execute marketing campaigns to and through partners, including identifying opportunities and leading execution of campaigns through the partner channels.
- Drive client satisfaction, competitive differentiation and revenue impact via integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
- Manage projects and communications internally and with partners to achieve agreed upon success metrics.
- Be a trusted liaison that aligns with teams such as Sales, Strategic Business Development, Partner Marketing and the broader Marketing team, including leadership, as well as various other subject matter experts and stakeholders for joint success
What you’ll do
Campaign Execution and Advisory
- Work closely with the Partner Marketing leaders to execute marketing strategies and support campaigns to meet partnership success metrics. Campaigns to include:
- Activation and engagement campaigns
- New client acquisition via thought leadership, digital marketing and content marketing projects
- Drive collaboration with partners’ marketing counterparts to plan, develop and execute agreed upon marketing and communications projects.
- Chase down deliverables to ensure effective and timely campaigns.
- Develop scalable marketing assets and campaigns that serve both SBD and Technology partnerships.
- Provide operational excellence in measuring and improving productivity, utilization, scale initiatives etc.
- Share your point of view on all partner marketing engagement leveraging a solid understanding of the partner and BC’s business and value propositions, marketing best practices, and individual marketing acumen.
Campaign Support and Reporting
- Provide technical support by monitoring and resolving Jira and design tickets.
- Report and analyze metrics for marketing leadership.
- Research and recommend tasks, features, and/or tools to automate and/or improve partner campaign processes.
Campaign Communications
- Act as a communications hub, key point of contact, and evangelist.
- Be an expert knowledge source for partner campaign questions.
- Manage, maintain and update partner portal content.
- Develop and maintain a robust communications calendar including partner communications, newsletters and product communications.
- Build and maintain the Partner Marketing production schedule.
- Serve as a traffic coordinator for all partner campaign requests.
- Liaise and coordinate with agencies, if applicable.
- Champion our partners within BigCommerce to ensure we deliver an awesome partner experience--the best in the ecommerce industry.
- Serve the broader Marketing team with project coordination as requested by Partner Marketing Management.
Who you are
- Marketing Professional
- 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally in software or technology partner marketing. Familiarity with eCommerce a HUGE plus.
- Previous experience in executing marketing campaigns and delivering effective communication that gets results is strongly preferred.
- An understanding of nurture streams/programs preferred.
- Savvy and proven success with integrated marketing programs—first and last you’re a rock-solid marketer--ideally you’ll showcase a portfolio of partner campaigns.
- Comfortable using technology - You have superior Internet, email, and electronic document management skills and, ideally, have experience with systems like SFDC, Periscope, Marketo, JIRA and Confluence.
- Master Communicator - Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills are critical as you’ll work across all levels of the business.
- Customer Focused - You have a passion for service and satisfaction, are dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, get first-hand information and use it for improvements in products and services, act with customers in mind, and establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, gaining their trust and respect.
- Process and Project Manager - You can readily design practices, processes, and procedures, know what to measure and how to measure it, can organize people and activities, and are good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done. JIRA experience a plus.
