Position Summary
The Patient Engagement Content Associate will leverage their patient engagement experience and clinical background to build and optimize patient facing content. Collaborate across teams to strategically design and develop content. Perform user testing to optimize content. Evaluate content performance and continuously improve content engagement.
 
Responsibilities

  • 20% - Clinical guideline development
    • Develop standard clinical guidelines for each disease state
    • Leverage resources within and outside athena to develop a strong point of view on standardized patient self reported data
  • 25% - Content development
    • Translate clinical guidelines into an engaging patient experience using a combination of athenaWell functionality and educational content
    • Provide clinical input on content licensing conversations
  • 25% - Content testing and iteration
    • Develop and execute user test plans for content
    • Analyze and evaluate content performance
    • Analyze and evaluate patient engagement
    • Continuously improve content quality and engagement
  • 15% - Customer success
    • Partner with clients to develop content and customize where appropriate
  • 10% - Product definition
    • Partner with product scrum teams to develop functionality to impact patient engagement
    • Provide input to product requirements
 
Education, skills & experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Clinical background required (RN, PA, FNP, or other mid-level healthcare degree, or higher)
  • Minimum of 3 years in a clinical setting (ideally as a nurse care manager) required
  • Experience developing care plans and care programs
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to be flexible, scrappy and focused on achieving results
  • Ability to work with a cross functional team to achieve results
  • Strong computer literacy including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational skills, analytical ability, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to complete projects with tight deadlines and time constraints
  • Bonus points if you’re familiar with SQL
