About The Role

We’re looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic People Team in a contractor role. The role is responsible for supporting general operations of the People team in a customer-focused, friendly and collaborative manner.

Who You Are
  • Helpful benefits associate who provides top-notch customer service to both internal team members, applicants and external vendors
  • You've spent at least one year as a People or HR Coordinator and have a basic knowledge of of HIPAA and privacy/confidentially requirements, as well as a working knowledge of federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, affecting team member benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Section 125, etc.
  • You possess an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Communicate clearly and effectively both written and verbally
  • You have proven organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
  • Can do with a sense of urgency, and a friendly, pragmatic demeanor who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • You are willing to help the People Team with special projects
What You'll Be Doing

Benefits Administration & General People Operations

  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA, FSA and other benefit plans)
  • You'll process monthly carrier invoices by reporting out of the HRIS (Workday) and partner with vendors and our Accounting team
  • Own regulatory filing and audit activity including 5500s and ACA reporting
  • You'll handle new hire benefits enrollment/end of employment termination in our HRIS and vendors system
  • You'll coordinate and run the Leave Status programs (FMLA, Personal Leave, STD, LTD, Military, etc.)
  • Partner with payroll to identify and correct any benefit deduction issues
  • Perform Workday research, data entry, audits and run benefits-related reports for payroll
  • Help with Recruiting-related tasks such as interview scheduling, greeting candidates and process management
