The PR Manager is responsible for the overall public relations strategy and content for our portfolio of products. This position is also responsible for some general marketing communications duties. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with other marketing personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a list of relevant media, analysts, and pundits.
- Craft the pitch for various topics/angles.
- Pitch and secure interviews for company executives with targeted media, analysts, and pundits.
- Coordinate executive schedules, prepare talking points, and execute interviews/briefings.
- Work with external agencies as needed.
- Work cross-functionally to meet department goals.
- Create content pertaining to PR, including press releases, advisories, briefings, and blogs.
- Coordinate in-person and virtual press and analyst tours including booking meetings, creating briefing documents and organizing logistics.
- Collaborate on social media strategies, including creation of content.
- Contribute to online marketing activities as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of public relations experience.
- International PR experience preferred.
- Experience with consumer e-commerce products preferred.
- Strong writing skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with limited direction.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- A four year degree from an accredited university.
