Principal Software Product Manager, Identity and Reputation
The Opportunity
The Principal Product Manager for Identity and Reputation will be responsible for helping our travelers and partners (property owners and property managers) be confident and efficient in transacting with each other through our platform. Travelers want to know the property actually exists and will be as it has been described. Partners want to know the traveler is going to follow their house rules and leave the property as they found it. Both parties would like to know that the other is who they say they are, and that other people have had great experiences with them.
We need to decide which identity data elements and reputation signals need to be gathered, verified and communicated without creating too much friction in the marketplace. It is both a psychological and technical challenge to motivate travelers and partners to help each other transact. We’re looking for a senior product manager who is qualified and excited to take on this challenge.
