The Gig We are seeking an experienced Culture and Recruiting Manager to join our lean HR team. This expert generalist will lead recruiting strategy and manage all aspects of the candidate life cycle from sourcing to onboarding. As recruiter, this includes maintaining existing relationships as well as developing new ones with passive candidates, outside recruiters, universities and portfolio schools, assisting hiring managers in role profile development, writing job descriptions and managing applicant tracking system. Screening candidates, maintaining regular communication with candidates in progress, and keeping time-to-hire in check by monitoring reporting hiring metrics are also part of the deal. 

As cultural ambassador, this role will be charged with ensuring memorable, meaningful, positive experiences of Drumroll for candidates, partners and community. This also means promoting healthy engagement and development of our existing team, sometime leading the charge on new employee experience initiatives. Creative approaches to attracting talent and broadcasting Drumroll's internal brand welcome! Experience with managing internship programs would be amazing.

The Culture and Recruiting Manager reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

You are a bleeding heart, but you can make a slammin' business case for your people-first approach. You believe that recruiting is HR is PR is employee experience is client service is YOUR BUSINESS! Maybe you like to party, but you get "parent drunk". You know, like when all you want to do is get loose, but all you can think about is getting everyone else safely in a cab and taking out the trash before you leave.

What You Gotta Know

  • 4+ years of recruiting/HR/employee experience management. 
  • Experience with progressive/creative HR models.
  • Strong understanding of the interplay between financial management and team development.
  • Natural social connecting ability.

This is onsite position, but could be a full time hire, contract-to-hire, or even a part-time position to start. In other words, there is some flexibility for the right person as long as you can be onsite. 

Extra cool if you

  • Have traditional HR (compliance and stuff) a plus.
  • Have prior experience in a creative agency setting.
  • When you karaoke, it's like your performance is holding the fabric of the universe together.

Coinage Salary is based on qualifications, experience and is competitive with market value for the position.
