Job Description - Regional Business Development Executive 

Are you a hunter sales rep? Do you have a passion for learning technology? Do you love eating out and being social?  If so, you may be a fit for HotSchedules Train business development executive role.  You will have the opportunity to sell our technology platform to some of the hottest restaurants, bars, and entertainment establishments.  Using the phone, email, and networking technology you will deliver our message and solutions to top restaurants of all sizes.  An ideal candidate will have specialized experience selling Learning Management Software (LMS) solutions and also have some knowledge of restaurant operations.  If you have a history of achieving quota, can handle a challenge, and want to help us build a winning team, please apply and let's talk!

 Responsibilities:

  • Must be a Hunter going after new logo business
  • Secure new business leads by prospecting for new customers
  • Attain or exceed sales quota by identifying customers’ business challenges and aligning the HotSchedules Train product (LMS) to create world-class solutions that deliver significant value
  • Use full understanding of area of specialization to manage your assigned marketplace, solving a wide range of business issues in creative ways
  • Build account plans with existing Sales Account teams, Customer Success & Delivery teams
  • Develop, negotiate and close long-term agreements with accounts in your assigned marketplace
  • Conduct virtual and live presentations around our solutions

 Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5 years enterprise SaaS sales experience, successfully selling high level corporate software/technology solutions at the executive level
  • 5 years of highly successful sales experience in Learning Management applications (Software or SaaS) to Global 5000 corporations
  • Exceptional sales performance history
  • Comfortable demonstrating software and the ability to present to technical and non-technical executives
  • Ability to work independently but also work collaboratively on a team
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships, with both internal partners and external customers
  • Aggressive, hard-working, persuasive, persistent, self-motivated, and productive
  • Multitasking and strong time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and email and indirect methods such as networking
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales opportunity
  • Acquire and retain solid understanding of relevant domain and product knowledge for prospecting
  • Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to improve sales tools
  • Experience with CRM tools (SalesForce.com and Microsoft Office)
Ability to sit remotely in specific states within the U.S.
