What is the opportunity?


Your goal as a Regional Development Representative will be to build awareness about Main Street Hub in the local business community. This will be accomplished by building relationships with local business influencers, organizations and strategic partners. Here is a sample of what you’ll be responsible for on a daily basis:



  • Generate a high number of qualified customer leads for Main Street Hub’s Sales team.

  • Initiate and manage relationships with high-profile organizations, associations and local influencers in the community with the goal of reaching new prospects.

  • Initiate and manage local marketing activities (including email and social media, speaking engagements, partnerships and sponsorships) with the goal of driving prospects to local educational seminars and online events (webinars).

  • Deliver Main Street Hub seminars, both in person and online, to groups of prospects through self-hosted events, keynote presentations and partnerships.

  • Plan, organize and execute local self-hosted events, webinars and multi-speaker conferences.

  • This role will report directly to the Senior Manager of Marketing, with a close relationship with the Sales team.


What will it take to succeed?



  • 3+ years of experience in Sales and / or Business Development.

  • Experience presenting or educating in public group settings (100+ attendees, 2+ hours).

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.  Ability to engage a large audience and also to effectively communicate in a one-to-one setting.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Knowledge of social media marketing.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance goals in demanding roles.

  • Solid sales funnel management skills and the ability to accomplish goals with a high degree of autonomy.

  • An exemplary work ethic, a “get it done” attitude, and high personal accountability.

  • Enthusiasm for local businesses and an unwavering commitment to upholding the Main Street Hub values.

  • Passion for working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with continuous change, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and perform duties outside these descriptions to help us build something incredible.

  • Bonus points for:


    • Prior experience with Salesforce, Marketo, HTML/CSS, Photoshop.

    • Connections with local business influencers in the Austin and Central Texas area.

    • Familiarity with the Local/SMB space.
