Who You Are:

Enthusiastic about being a part of helping nonprofit organizations to transform the lives of those they serve by giving them a better quality of life!  This vibrant individual will be responsible for finding, developing, and closing new business to nonprofit organizations within a defined territory.  Emphasis will be placed on identifying and converting sales targets, including detailed tracking of sales prospects to establish a qualified pipeline;  and activities including product demonstrations, and closing business. This role will suit a mission-driven, strategic and hungry sales hunter that is ambitious and looking to make a difference.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maximize territory potential through targeting prospects, qualifying, conducting customer meetings and demonstrating the product by phone 90% of the time.
  • Generate new target prospects through research, networking, and referrals.
  • Work closely with sales management to prioritize opportunities and execute sales strategies to not only meet quota but to aim for exceeding it by year-end.
  • Submit standard sales metrics, such as, weekly forecasts, pipeline, funnel, monthly progress, and business plans on a regular and timely basis.
  • Maintain Salesforce for opportunity and contact management.

Skills & Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years (no more than 7 years) of related sales experience (selling software solutions is preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of the full life cycle of sales; solution selling skills a PLUS
  • Knowledge of the human service sector or experience working with nonprofits is desired
  • Demonstrated success in a B2B sales environment
