Founded in Austin, TX in 2015, OnceThere is an ecommerce platform where tour and activity suppliers distribute their services everywhere consumers purchase travel activities.  We promote a culture of discovery, humanity, and creativity through our product and our people.

OnceThere was started by veterans of ecommerce and online travel. We recently received $4.5 million in funding from a distinguished group of investors including founders of HomeAway, Home Advisor, Simpleview, BazaarVoice, Capital Factory, uShip and Everfest. OnceThere already operates in several markets, and will enter 20 new markets within the next 12 months! The Role

We are seeking candidates stimulated by a fast-paced, start-up environment for a role encompassing diverse sales and account management responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys everything from calling leads, establishing new business relationships, and a creating an amazing customer experience. We require a goal oriented, self-motivated individual who is confident, thorough, and tenacious.

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospects, call/email leads, and manage customers through the sales lifecycle.
  • Onboard new tour and activity suppliers efficiently while satisfying quality standards.
  • Respond professionally to all customer inquiries. Identify and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Monitor and control numerous concurrent tasks in tandem.
  • Proactively and independently work to meet targets and goals.
  • Identifying areas of continuous operational improvement/excellence.

Experience

  • 3+ years experience in sales, account management, or customer experience. Working with small to medium business owners a plus.
  • Demonstrable experience setting, meeting, and exceeding sales goals.
  • Phenomenal communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude, self-motivated and determined.
  • Ability to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Tech savvy, ability to pick up new technology quickly. We work with PipeDrive and Zendesk. Experience in customer service or the travel industry will be an added advantage.
  • Must be available for a regular 5-day work week (40 hours), and on occasion able to work on weekends and public holidays.
