GlobalSales Operations Sales Analyst

Overview

Are you someone that loves working with data, building reports, and adding value through analysis?  Do you thrive on supporting a global sales team through capturing measurable data to increase performance?  HomeAway is looking for a dynamic Sales Analyst on the Global Sales Operations team to dive in and provide expertise in our sales, customer, and operational data. Having a reporting and data-centric background will be critical in this position.

Responsibilities

-      Actively develop a new suite of reports inside our Salesforce.com platform that supports our global B2B and B2C sales team

-      Proactively utilize advanced technical skills to extract data from multiple sources & provide clear output for decision making

-      Present findings and insights via presentations and meetings to facilitate informed decision making for the senior sales leadership team

-      Provide the inputs such as user stories, metrics, & KPIs for the development of a new sales data warehouse as well as validating the results post development

-      Create, update, and maintain reports varying from Excel to Salesforce to Tableau

-      Partner with sales to gather and document data and reporting requirements to build analytical solutions & identify information gaps

-      Support questions from the sales team regarding report output & ensure data accuracy

-      Contribute new insights to ad-hoc analytics and data projects to provide innovative solutions

-      Work with multiple stakeholders to gain commitment on project requirements, timelines, and desired output

-      Maintain documentation on  reports & queries while partnering with the team to drive consistency in data sources, metrics, and best practices

Ideally, we are looking for:

-     4+ years in an analyst role (business, sales, data, systems, finance)

-     Experience withSalesForce.com

-     Expertise in MS Excel(formulas, pivots, charts)

-     Experience in writing SQL statements for data extraction

-     Expertise in report building & presentation development utilizing a BI application for visualizations (Tableau preferred)

-     Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities paired with excellent communication skills

-      Bachelor’s degree or higher
