 We are seeking a competitive and self-motivated individual to join the foundation of our sales/marketing team. The SDR will be responsible for qualifying all inbound leads and driving our outbound lead generation. This includes prospecting, nurturing, and qualifying potential customers. The SDR works closely with sales & marketing to help engage inbound lead lists, re-marketing campaigns, and developing outbound sprints and outreach to prospect accounts. As a true business consultant, the SDR must become familiar with unified collaboration in order to articulate Vyopta’s value to prospects and increase brand awareness. 


Responsibilities

  • Research inbound and outbound leads to qualify for sales demonstration.
  • Conduct high volume outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social to generate a substantial pipeline of qualified leads.
  • No fear attitude when executing the first two responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with account executives to contribute to the collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree; or Associate's degree plus 1-3 years of professional experience (includes internships) in a commercially-oriented role or customer service.
  • Previous successful sales experience OR a strong interest in a sales career.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and customer relationship skills.
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced challenging startup environment.
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals.
  • Ability to overcome objections.
  • The technical aptitude to master our sales tools and learn our product.

Nice to Have

  • Working basic knowledge of video and voice communications industry is encouraged but not mandatory. However, willingness to learn is crucial.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, Yesware, HubSpot, Cisco Jabber/Webex.
  • High volume cold-calling or lead generation experience.
  • Experience at a startup or small company environment.
