The Opportunity

Your upbeat attitude keeps the sales floor energized and Associate Market Manager Associates motivated. This position is a lead sales role that will support the Sales Manager by motivating the team to achieve acquisition sales, retention of existing customers, online reservations adoption, and upsell targets across all product types and tiers. Under the direction of the Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for helping advance the team’s skills to boost performance and meet customer expectations. You’re a mentor. You provide productive feedback and thoughtful guidance to team, grooming them for advancement on the sales team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to clearly sell/sign-up and achieve all product features of the business from acquisition sales, retention, online reservations adoption, and upsells across all product types and tiers
  • Maximize company sales growth and profitability by supporting the sales managers and sales team, in order to achieve daily sales goals 
  • Maintain an awareness of all available resources for training and development
  • Coach market manager associates on exceptional sales performance
  • Provide specific feedback about performance directly to associates and share observations with the sales manager 
  • Maintain a strong, visible and positive presence on the sales floor• Assist the sales manager to train and develop sales associates in all operations, sales skills, customer service skills and product knowledge 
  • In coordination with the sales manager, help manage the closing efforts of the team
  • Communicate regularly with the sales managers concerning all aspects of sales, training opportunities, customer reaction, and sales associates’ performance. 
  • Communicate business sales goals and work effectively with all market manager associates in order to meet these goals. 
  • Coordinate with Rezovation’s sales team to identify cross-sell opportunities 
  • Conduct daily morning huddles and end-of-day sales recap discussions with sales associates. 
  • Promote a strong sense of teamwork by working together effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all associates. 
  • Manage existing customers and respond to customer requests & opportunities
  • High Volume outbound calling to manage/up-sell existing customers, prospective customers and conduct call campaigns in support of sales events and other marketing activities• Document every contact with customers and prospects in Salesforce.com
  • Grasp technology service solutions and maintain an understanding of our marketplace including competitors

Required skills:

  • 3+ years of inside sales experience (business to business sales required)
  • Proven success in lead generation and lead qualification
  • Knowledge of CRM Systems (Salesforce.com a plus)
  • Proven track record of successful telephone sales and Account Management
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of Internet technologies• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing business environment
  • Sales training or solution selling training preferred
  • Demonstrates traits of a leader
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent (Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred)
  • Demonstrate creative problem solving to maintain a solutions-oriented focus
