Senior Financial Analyst
WP Engine is looking for an experienced financial analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be providing financial guidance, support & insights to various areas of our business including sales and marketing. At WP Engine, being data driven is central to our success, and we are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively with teams to drive solutions to business problems with influence into our business strategy and decisions.

THE DAY TO DAY- Serving as a trusted advisor to business leaders regarding the financial matters of their business
- Developing, compiling and reporting key metrics, information and trends for the organization always within the mindset of developing insights and facilitating decision making for management
- Supporting management on all relevant operating and financial analysis
- Performing annual planning and quarterly forecasting with business partners and analyzing actual results against forecasts/plans
- Helping to align budgeting and investment decisions with the company's strategic priorities
- Performing analyses to provide insight into risk and opportunities to influence investment decisions
- Supporting efforts around process improvements, system implementations and reporting automation
- Participating in the finance and accounting monthly close process aligning closely with the accounting team
- You have 3-5 years of financial analyst experience preferably within a high growth environment
- Proven ability to build and develop relationships across the business
- Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
- Experience working with databases and large data sets preferred
- Extremely proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Adaptive Planning or experience with using other financial planning tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
- A passion for solving complex business problems with insightful analysis and data storytelling
