Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing – Launch Team

Job Description. 

Opportunity - The Senior Manager, Global Product Marketing - Launch Team is responsible for leading go-to-market strategy and execution for global launches on the partner (supply) side of the business. This integral role will be at the center of launches for HomeAway brands globally. This manager will lead a team dedicated and responsible for launches as part of the broader global product marketing and marketing organizations. 

This critical role includes identifying customer and business needs, creating agile processes, developing strong and enduring customer messaging, working cross-functionally to meet business launch goals, and quickly adapting between different products and projects. 


Our ideal candidate is comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels and have a history of product marketing, setting up processes, launching successful products, being adaptable, customer-driven, data-driven, motivated to contribute in any way to the success of the team. 



GTM (Go-to-market)

- Define go-to-market strategies by product launch, globally and locally

- Ensure go-to-market strategy fits in overall customer journey planning and orchestrating stories across quarters and years

-Own and update go-to-market playbook for launches as product releases and marketing channels evolve

- Create go-to-market processes and templates to increase launch velocity and excellence at HomeAway. 

- Drive business KPIs through A/B testing and creative problem solving

- Activate and test new channels to deliver effective messages to customers 

Content

-Develop and create product positioning and messaging

- Create and review marketing collateral, internal training documents, and external help portal content

Readiness

-Own and Expand communication channels with the rest of the company and act as the hub to all GTM activities, locally and globally; partner with program on go-to-market and readiness activities across the entire organization

-Support other team as they prepare functional specific content for launches

Post launch adoption

-Partners with product, marketing, CS, Sales, and product marketing advocacy team to drive adoption of key products and features

Profile/Skills:

-7+ years internet, ecommerce experience, preferably in an international or global capacity 

-3+ years of product marketing experience, preferably B2B and B2C 

-Experience partnering with Sales and Customer Support teams to become a customer expert and advocate

-Ability and track record of working in close partnership and developing strong relationships with product management and marketing teams

-Understanding of and track record of merchandizing product features leading to quick adoption and lasting usage

-Track record of successfully working in a global, matrix organization

-Good understanding of and track record for successful delivery of go-to-market activities

-Strong analytical and communication skills 

-MBA preferred

- Create and execute effective go to market strategy 

-Smooth and coordinated product launch process across all cross-functional teams and all regions while minimizing customer contact rates

-Excellent working relationship with product management, marketing, sales, and customer experience teams

-Measurable improvements in business KPIs and customer satisfaction
