What are we looking for?

In our fast growing company, we seek an articulate and technically inclined individual to help develop, implement and train on world-class food safety and quality systems. Reporting to the Senior Director of Professional Services, you will help clients build a sustainable food safety systems with consistent and audit-defensible practices for GFSI
certification. To be successful, you exude confidence and thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You love learning and long to work with an amazing team of people who are experts in what they do but be capable of working independently.

What you’ll do:

  • Overall you will be providing complete professional consulting services for clients in the areas of HACCP, SQF, BRC, and FSSC 22000 to assure compliance with regulatory and audit standards.
  • Conduct training seminars for Preventive Control for Human Food and HACCP.
  • Support Marketing by participating in webinars, speaking engagements and blogs.
  • Work with clients to implement proven operational excellence programs such as the Total Operational Performance System (TOPS).
  • Help clients to prioritize safety, quality, productivity, and culture objectives for across-the-board optimization.
  • You will utilize Salesforce to ensure accuracy in client account information, maintain scheduled calendar events and post weekly comments in Salesforce Chatter on client visit summaries.
  • You will upload all client files into SharePoint within the established 7 day time frame and utilize the established GFSI programs provided in SharePoint to ensure consistent content and format implementation.
  • Promote Alchemy product offerings during each client visit.
  • Communicate needs and issues with the Sr. Director Professional Services.
  • Establish a follow up plan to contact past clients for continued services.

What you bring to the table:

  • 10+ years of experience in a variety of consulting, auditing, and teaching within the food production industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of regulatory compliance with FDA and USDA standards
  • Preventive Controls Qualified Individual and HACCP Certification
  • SQF, BRC and/or FSSC 22000 Certifications or knowledge
  • ISO 9001 Certificantion (preferred but not required)
  • Background in project management/coordination is an asset
  • Business-to-business experience is considered an asset
  • Retail knowledge is an asset
  • Moderate to advanced proficiency with Salesforce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Ability to travel up to 80% including internationally
