CognitiveScale is looking for a Senior Project Manager Consultant in Austin that will support our delivery group along our healthcare line of business.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a four-year degree in Computer Science or similar technical field and/or 10+ years of demonstrated enterprise consulting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must have exceptional organization, communication, Project Management, negotiation and problem solving skills and a proven track record of success in the enterprise space. The role requires both project management expertise in a consulting organization, and broad technology knowledge with the ability to facilitate solutions by mapping business problems to leading edge cognitive and machine learning solutions. A demonstrated ability to engage in senior level business and technology decision maker discussions (C-level, VP, Director) related to vision, business value, and end to end technology solutions is also a must. The Senior Project Manager Consultant is conduit between the Customer and CognitiveScale and drives customer success with flawless execution. They manage both onshore, offshore, and partner delivery of large and complex enterprise projects. They represent the voice of the customer and strive for excellence in all aspects of the Customer’s journey to transform to a cognitive business.

 

Project Management

The Senior Project Manager Consultant applies project management and leadership skills and experience in delivering projects on-time, on-budget, on-spec and with high customer satisfaction. The Candidate will have relevant project management consulting skills in healthcare. To be successful in this role they must be able to drive projects at all phases of a technology solution’s lifecycle and have demonstrated the ability to manage and mitigate risk while delivering business value. The role requires a technically strong project manager who is resourceful, creative, confident, and can manage complex enterprise projects, multiple stakeholders, and aggressive deadlines all while managing customer expectations and satisfaction.

 

Delivery Success

The Senior Project Manager Consultant is responsible for all aspects of delivery conception to production operations and support: scope, product alignment, schedule, cost, risk, quality, expectations, customer success and profitability. The demonstrated measure of success for the Senior Project Manager Consultant will be their customer’s satisfaction and reference.

 

They play a key role in employing and developing business partners as part of the overall CognitiveScale delivery model. They scale our delivery capability with partners by being expert in CognitiveScale products and solutions and managing partner service line managers to ensure CognitiveScale has access to top talent and resources as our business grows. They work jointly with the partner network to align solution delivery and best practices for cognitive technologies and mentor and develop partner consultants.

 

Relationship and Business Development

The Senior Project Manager Consultant helps customer account teams identify, pursue and close strategic business development opportunities while continually driving new business opportunities within existing accounts. To accomplish this, they must be effective in fostering executive level relationships. They help translate business requirements into technology requirements for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work (SOW). In some cases, they will also assist in contract negotiations and engagement management.
