We are seeking an individual with sales leadership experience to join our growing team. The Senior Sales Development Manager will lead and manage the sales development representative team responsible for qualifying inbound leads and driving our outbound pipeline generation. Because the primary role of the SDR team is to contact prospects that otherwise would not be reached, the SDR team sets the tone for a prospect’s first impression of Vyopta. Therefore, SDR team must focus not only on generating new sales opportunities, but also on creating positive prospect experiences through their calls while serving as Vyopta brand ambassadors.  

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a team leader with a passion for building and strengthening the team's sales skills, training and coaching individual team members, and exceeding the team's performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Sales Development organization to goals, objectives and quota achievement. 
  • Partner cross functionally to optimize the current SDR process, support lead generation and drive overall sales initiatives. 
  • Monitor lead flow, lead handling, and SDR activity. 
  • Leverage marketing-generated content, customer evidence, industry trends, and more to create tailored outbounding to potential customers. 
  • Help build team and organizational culture of success, enthusiasm, purpose and fun
  • Attract and recruit talented people who share our values and are motivated to help drive Vyopta’s success 
  • Accurately assess the capabilities, motivators, and aspirations of each team member and partner with them to fully develop their potential and future careers 
  • Develop and continuously improve lead qualification using established criteria and standards such as BANT – Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeframe.
  • Provide weekly reporting on leads, conversion to qualified prospects, sales opportunities and campaign effectiveness. 
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Vyopta’s product, value, competitors, and video & unified communications industry trends.

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in a SaaS environment, with proven track record of consistent over achievement.
  • Extensive knowledge of B2B enterprise selling environments, methodologies, best practices, and objectives.
  • Experience growing, scaling, and motivating a successful sales development team.
  • Strong ability and desire to coach, develop, and train team members in sales fundamentals. 
  • Strong knowledge and skills in B2B sales tools and technology, mixed media contact strategy, social selling platforms, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator, DiscoverOrg, Yesware, Cisco Jabber/Webex, chat functionality, and marketing automation software. Along with Microsoft/Google Office Suite. 
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Nice to Have

  • MBA degree (preferred). 
  • Working basic knowledge of video and voice communications industry is encouraged but not mandatory, willingness to learn is crucial.

We are located off South 360, on the beautiful Barton Creek Greenbelt in south Austin.
