Senior Software Engineer, Android
In just over 3 years the RetailMeNot Android App has grown to over 10 million monthly active users. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Android team who are changing the way millions of people shop.
Responsibilities:
Work on native large-scale Android applications with a keen attention to detail and bug-free code.
Take initiatives in leading projects and collaborating with others.
Test, integrate, write, troubleshoot, and debug software applications.
Build new and innovative product features.
Maintain high level performance quality.
Mentor more junior engineers on software engineering techniques, process and new technologies.
Collaborate with designers and engineers alike.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent self-study of computer science.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Rock solid understanding and application of computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
2+ years experience in Android and/or Java.
Apps already launched on the Play store.
An expectation to write elegant, readable, and well-documented code.
Ability to apply an entrepreneurial approach and passion to problem solving.
