From tweeting teenagers to running Halloween costume contests on Instagram, social media is core to our marketing strategy. If you are super creative, have a passion for social media marketing and are results-focused this is the job for you.
Our ideal candidate will know that just blasting out a “Harambe” meme is not what makes a successful social-media strategy. Engaging the audience, growing the following, experimenting with new strategies, and ultimately generating sales are what this role is about.
Candidates will need to have experience with short and long-form content creation and running social campaigns. A basic knowledge of SEO strategy is a plus.
ABOUT ACEABLE
Aceable (composed of Aceable.com and AceableAgent.com) is a mobile education platform that focuses on creating affordable, engaging, and convenient educational content across all devices. Built by former teachers, NASA engineers and those passionate about education, the Austin-based team is obsessed with helping people with life’s certification challenges. After launching its first mobile app to provide accredited driver’s ed courses, Aceable is now expanding into other verticals for required education, including real estate continuing education. To date, Aceable touts more than 400,000 users and counting, as it continues to expand nationwide.
ABOUT YOUR NEW TEAM
The marketing team is made up of seven cold-brew drinking strategists who love to obsess over conversion rates and landing page fonts. You’ll help us increase brand awareness and acquire new customers by leading the social media content strategy for our team. We’re excited to find someone who can jump in immediately and dazzle us with their ideas and energy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO- Develop and experiment with social media strategies to engage our audience, create delight for our customers, and maximize conversion for both Aceable and AceableAgent
- Create a social media content calendar and actively maintain all our accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr, YouTube, Google+, and LinkedIn
- Contribute to our overall content and SEO strategy by using social media as a channel to pursue partnerships, share links, and generate traffic to the website
- Develop and maintain metrics showing the value of social media
- Run and A/B test paid campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
- Support the blog by working with the other writers to produce articles and infographics
- Produce unique, on-brand content, including copy, graphics, photo, and video
- Answer the influx of sales and support questions on social media in a timely and professional manner
- Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm, critique, and overcome challenges as we continue to succeed at growing our company
- Support the marketing team with other tasks as needed
- 5+ years experience with producing social media content or running social media campaigns.
- Top notch writing skills and grammar (yes, we will scrutinize your resume and cover letter for errors)
- Familiarity with design tools like Photoshop
- Willingness to learn the Aceable product inside out, so you can answer support questions on the fly
- Determination to set and achieve goals and a desire to grow your career
- Follow Aceable and AceableAgent on social media (we will check)
- Ability to be a team player by not being afraid to give or receive constructive feedback
- Knowledge of SEO
- Video creation experience
- Experience managing external vendors and writers
