We are looking for a software engineer who:

What you’ll do everyday:

• Collaborate with peers on software design, work estimation and implementation of new features including interfaces, contracts with storage system, and data transformation
• Leverage your polyglot abilities to traverse the stack and develop user-focused applications
• Actively participate in experimenting and refining team development process
• Shape and embrace team values and commitments
• Identify and champion opportunities to evaluate emerging technologies
• Contribute to a fun environment working with a great team and create cutting edge software

What you need to bring to the table:

• 3+ years of experience with Object Oriented Programming
• Hands-on expertise with Java and JavaScript
• Proficiency with front end web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Experience working on large software systems, particularly distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Experience working with relational, NoSQL, or Graph databases
• Fluent in common design patterns
• A passion for learning and continuously honing your craft
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher. Computer Science, Math, or Engineering major is preferable.

What else will help:

• Experience working with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Elasticsearch
• Experience with Docker
• Proficiency with Python
• Hands-on experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP, or AWS)
• Proficiency with Android (Java) or iOS (Objective-C or Swift) development a strong plus
