Software Engineering Manager
About the Role:
Who You Are
- You have experience leading technical teams with an operations focus
- You're passionate about building high performing engineering teams
- You possess strong coaching and mentoring skills
- You have a technical background in systems or software engineering
- You’ve spent at least 5 years writing code and working with diverse technology stacks
- Deep understanding of web services, databases, networking, and AWS infrastructure
- You love analytics and focus on metrics
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver software to improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of our services
- Identify recurring issues, and automation solutions necessary for preventing recurrence
- Direct efforts around service monitoring and infrastructure tooling
- Develop long term strategies and roadmap
- Hire and nurture great engineers
- Guide and mentor team members to make good technical decisions
