Job Duties:

·        Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; identifying and resolving problems; completing trouble tickets and feature requests; determining system improvements; implementing changes. 

·        Develops and maintains plans for automated tests of software and services.  Executes automated tests regularly.  Develops new automated tests. 

·        Develops quality assurance plans and analyses; identifying and prioritizing manual and automated test cases. 

·        Validates quality standards by establishing product/service specifications and quality attributes; measuring system performance and behavior in production; documenting evidence; determining operational, performance, and behavior qualifications; writing and updating quality assurance plans and reports.

·        Maintains and improves product quality by completing system audits; investigating internal and external customer complaints; collaborating with other employees to develop new product and engineering designs.

·        Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information related to the execution of test cases and the backlog of test cases.

·        Updates job knowledge by studying trends in and developments in quality management; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

·        Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Required Skills and Experience:

·        Minimum 2 years of automated test development

·        Minimum 2 years of creating and maintaining manual test cases

·        Minimum 2 years of SQL experience

·        Minimum 2 years of testing Web applications

·        Minimum 2 years of using source control

·        Minimum 2 years of production defect investigation

Optional Skills and Experience:

·        Testing Ruby on Rails applications

·        Test Rail, GitHub, Selenium-WebDriver, Page Object pattern, Browser Stack, Circle CI, Heroku Apps
