Overview:

The Supplier Relationship / Retention Marketing Manager is focused on developing and executing strategies to drive Supplier customer retention on our sites based in North America. The marketing manager is responsible for:

 

-Generating multi-channel programs to drive renewal behavior among our Suppliers prior to their subscription expiration date

-Generating multi-channel programs to drive continued engagement and activity among our pay-per-booking Suppliers

-Tracking key metrics such as Renewal Rate and Ending Listing Counts to determine health of the business and necessary action plans

-Identifying at-risk customers and developing saving techniques to secure renewals

-Partnering closely with our Sales teams to effectively win back lapsed customers.

-Partnering closely with our CRM team to ensure segmentation is implemented across marketing channels and site.

-Partnering closely with our Product and Technology teams to ensure site and supplier tool experience supports marketing strategies.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong strategy and planning abilities, sound analytical skills, as well as the ability and willingness to roll up their sleeves on campaign development and execution. This includes everything from creative briefing, creative and technology Q/A, to key stakeholder training.

 

Responsibilities:

-Identify marketing strategies and channel utilization to address Suppliers coming up for subscription expiration and those that have lapsed.

-Develop integrated marketing campaigns to drive subscription renewals in conjunction with sales and online conversion.

-For non-subscription customers, identify the inactive subset and develop ongoing strategies to bring them back to active state.

-Lead creative development and process of creative assets via detailed and effective creative briefs.

- Manage trafficking of creative assets to appropriate teams to ensure flawless and on-time deployment of North America supplier retention communications across all marketing channels.

-Work across marketing and other orgs (events, sales, customer service, etc.) to develop collateral and promotions for Supplier events.

-Evaluate campaign effectiveness to identify optimization opportunities and report results and key learnings to stakeholders.

-Monitor and report against key initiatives and KPIs.

-Work with the Manager, Supplier Marketing to develop annual and quarterly marketing plans, manage budget, and contribute to testing roadmap.

-Communicate campaign strategy and segmentation to key stakeholders (Sales, Customer Support, Product Marketing, Sales Operations, etc.) to ensure team readiness & consistent messaging.

-Provide guidance to Product & Product Marketing teams regarding onsite renewal process to align with your learnings & strategies as the customer retention subject matter expert.

-Work with the Creative Services team to deliver effective customer communications assets across multiple channels including in-house email, landing pages, onsite banner ads, print, direct mail, online display, SEM etc.

-Manage a team of marketing specialists to ensure flawless execution of marketing programs.

 

Profile/Skills:

-Bachelor’s degree from top tier university

-8+ years marketing experience (B2B preferred)

-Strong analytical and communication skills

-Online and e-commerce experience preferred

-A proven record of driving successful customer retention and CRM strategies

-A strategic thinker and planner that is willing to roll up sleeves and execute where necessary

-Track record of successfully working with cross functional groups such as Sales, Customer -Service, and Product Marketing to execute marketing strategies

-Peers describe you as a competitive go-getter

-Understanding of Vacation Rental owner toolsets a plus (e.g., you are a HomeAway Owner or AirBnB host yourself)
