WP Engine is growing and we are seeking an Intern to join our Training and Development team.A Training and Development Intern will be responsible for general training administrative tasks, coordination of resources, record keeping, and data evaluation of training programs. This intern will have the opportunity to learn about training evaluation and data collection. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to build experience in logistical and system coordination for multiple concurrent training programs, students and instructors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Hours and Length of Internship:
This role is a paid, part-time assignment (15-20 hours/week). Hours are flexible and will work to accommodate a class schedule.
- Maintain administrative records and produce certificates of completion
- Create PowerPoint and Keynote presentations
- Transfer existing documentation into current templates and formats
- Take extensive notes to create process and training documents
- Manage company emails for employee trainings
- Collect and analyze training survey and evaluation data
- Create reports based on data collected
- Set up Audio Visual equipment
- Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
- Edit audio and visual recordings
- Administratively support training development and sessions
- Currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor degree
- Have a desire to explore Training and Development as a future career
- Motivated self-starter with a solid history of proven results
- Excellent and professional communication skills
- Highly skilled with Microsoft Office suite and Google Applications
- Familiar with WordPress, website development, and web hosting a plus
- Strong desire and flexibility to be a part of a start-up/high growth company with an entrepreneurial spirit and a fast-paced, result-oriented culture
