Job Overview

uShip is seeking a talented and energetic individual to join the Customer Operations team as a Trust and Safety Support Specialist on a temporary part time basis. This individual will work directly with the Trust and Safety team and Manager to protect our users and our business. If you have an interest in learning more about venture-backed .coms and fraud prevention, and are a motivated, smart, and driven individual, this may be the right position for you.

We are looking to hire someone on a part time 3 mos contract basis primarily to assist our T&S team in getting through a backlog of compliance confirmations. The employee will not work more than 29 hours per week, and we are flexible on daytime hours.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Trust and Safety team on outgoing calls for compliance confirmation
  • Maintaining detailed documentation pertaining to account attributes and actions
  • Assist in resolving escalated disputes and identifying high risk users
  • Educate customers on uShip’s terms and policies

 

Job Requirements:

  • Eager to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, often with minimal supervision
  • Creative problem solving skills – ability to think outside the box
  • Good judgment and comfort escalating potentially risky users
  • Customer service/support experience in a related industry
  • Must be comfortable with phone and email support
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
