We are seeking a talented user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designer to join our creative fulfillment team in Austin, Texas. We aim to design the most engaging and unique digital experiences, enhancing the way users interact with brands. We love to tackle tough design challenges and are looking for someone to hit the ground running on current and new design projects. 

As a part of our design team, the UX/UI Designer will create and define engaging user experiences for some of the world’s most well known brands and work closely with our engineering teams to drive projects through to fulfillment. We’re looking for someone who values beautiful, responsive design as well as intuitive, thoughtful user experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive portfolio of various works with an emphasis on user experience and visual design. He / she will be a problem solver who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys collaboration and working with customers, and takes ownership of the work they are creating. 

Responsibilities:

• Design well thought out, cohesive user experiences across all major mobile platforms
• Develop and maintain end-to-end design documentation for a project (including application maps, mid-fidelity wireframes, style guides, prototypes, etc.)
• Create and maintain design systems or GUIs for a project and deliver visually designed screens that are consistent and cohesive
• Work closely with development to document feature expectations and requirements for acceptance criteria and edge cases
• Be the voice of design on the project and be able to defend design thinking and walk a customer through design decisions and options
• Deliver art assets and style guides to development and deliver design support as needed during development
• Create design systems and design deliverables that translate a brand to mobile, utilizing our application framework
• Provide design support for pre-sales initiatives in the form of thought leadership, feature recommendations and visual mockups

Qualifications:

• BFA / MFA in Design and 1-2 years of professional design experience
• Previous experience in end-to-end mobile application design
• Proficient in industry standard software for wireframing, prototyping, and visual design (Creative Suite, Sketch, Sympli, Atomic or similar)
• Excellent visual, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment, as well as work independently and exercise sound professional judgment
• Strong internal motivation, natural ambition and an ability to deliver quickly on high profile projects
• Consistent track record for delivering commitments on time, with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail with an ownership mentality
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously in a creative environment
• Commitment to responsiveness, high quality work, and customer service
• Ability to react to directional changes quickly and positively and to receive and implement constructive feedback
• Appreciation of the balance between creative and business opportunities
• Demonstrated knowledge of mobile industry and new technology trends

Desirable:

• Keynote / presentation ideation and creation experience
• Familiarity with Basecamp and Jira
• iOS and android OS guidelines knowledge
• Previous experience in new technologies like wearables, Alexa, AR or VR
• Candidate must be open to travel as needed
