The Visual Product/Production Designer translates concepts into effective visual designs for interactive marketing, software products, web and motion-based projects.

You’re a fresh creative thinker, with a passion for design in all media and a love of making things. You live for interactive, have a contagious work ethic with a maniacal attention to pixel perfect detail, strive to produce the work at the highest quality standards and absorb design knowledge and trends. In short, be a badass or do NOT apply.

Under the direction of the Creative Director, you will work on several projects at a time and will be involved in all phases of creative development, with a focus on design execution. You may also be involved in new business projects. You receive moderate oversight and guidance from your manager for job performance.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

Designing solutions that meet or exceed the projects stated objectives

Contributing to the creation of product, UX, CX, interactive design concepts through participation in brainstorms and other idea-generating team sessions

Designing mood boards, storyboards, interactive layouts, design documentation, style guides, site grids and interface demos, sitemaps, pitch decks, wireframes and taking lo-fi mockups to hI-fidelity prototypes at light speed, with extreme attention to detail. under direction of the project design lead

Required Skills/Experience

NOTE: MUST HAVE AN AGENCY LEVEL PORTFOLIO AND AT LEAST 6 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. MUST HAVE WEB, MOBILE and HIGH END DESIGN and PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE.

Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of applicable programs -- Mac OS, Photoshop and Illustrator, Sketch, InVision, etc.

A basic understanding of interaction, motion design

Understand fundamentals of HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery and Custom WordPress essential.

A solid understanding of interactivity and the Web

Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people and especially the most talented engineers in Austin (this isn’t over-stated.)

Self-motivated, organized and accountable

This is a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity.
