As a member of the Marketing team, the Web UX Designer/Producer will be responsible for designing, implementing and updating content on Vyopta’s customer facing website, email marketing, and partner landing pages. In addition, this individual will be responsible for creating a web strategy for a presence that effectively communicates the brand voice and product information while employing best practices for SEO effectiveness. The ideal Web UX Designer/Producer will be a WordPress master and work closely with our sales and marketing teams to add content, install updates to WordPress, plugins, and themes. Attention to detail and being able to manage multiple projects at a time is a must!


Responsibilities

  • Lead Vyopta’s web strategy including the user experience and functionality with website design/updating, technical optimization, content creation, and link-building campaigns.
  • Updating and maintaining our customer facing website, and ensuring Vyopta’s brand and voice are promoted and articulated across all digital channels. 
  • Collaborate closely with the development, sales, marketing, and demand teams by guiding and ensuring consistency throughout the site by following brand image and quality standards.
  • Drive innovative approaches to digital marketing, embrace cutting-edge trends and ideas to ensure that our web properties are optimized for our digital marketing efforts (paid media, social, etc.).
  • Utilize data and analytics for continual optimization and improvement of website performance.
  • Participating in A/B Testing of website pages to improve site effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develops, assesses and communicates website usability, usage and security policies and standards, identifying applications to streamline conversions. 
  • Work with brand and demand teams to understand full range of digital ecosystem to leverage for marketing tactics.


Requirements

  • 4-6 years professional experience in a marketing web design/UX design/development role or equivalent project work.
  • Exposure to an enterprise B2B marketing environment in technology.
  • Extensive experience creating and maintaining websites built on Wordpress and/or experience with other front-end coding technologies.
  • An exceptional portfolio website.
  • Ability to optimize posts and pages for best search engine visibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science, communications (or related field) from an accredited four-year institution.


Nice to Haves

  • Experience in internet marketing at both the strategic and tactical levels including a proven track record of success in SEO and SEM.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Working knowledge of shared hosting and CPanel.
  • General graphic design skills (website banners, brochures, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and pay-per-click advertising.
  • Social media integration, marketing and brand management experience.
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience.
  • Exposure to the video/unified communications industry.
