What You'll Do:
LogicMonitor is disrupting the observability market and changing the way businesses take disparate sources of data and turn it into action. We are already a leader in this space - and we started by solving the hardest, most complicated problem first. With roots in the IT Infrastructure Monitoring space, we are on an evolutionary journey heading toward what’s next - unified observability. Our platform enables enterprise resiliency through data insights from the infrastructure, network, and application. As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a Data Scientist, CX Strategy and Enablement.
As a crucial member of the Customer Experience organization you are called upon to provide critical reports and analysis that are essential to measure and improve our results in customer success, customer retention, customer education, technical support, and professional service. You will be a key player in creating, measuring, and improving metrics and KPIs. Make your mark by being involved in both Run the Business and Change the Business initiatives. The key to your success is having a can-do attitude, being highly motivated, and detail, process, and customer service-oriented focused on actionable insights to fuel a growing and dynamic Customer Experience org.
As the Data Scientist you will report to the CX Strategy and Enablement leader, and be located in a LogicMonitor office.
Here's a closer look at this key role:
- Organize disparate facts and analyses into a coherent narrative that evaluate the success of and influence Customer Experience strategies, programs, and processes
- Create actionable insights and customer scores from customer utilization and behavior data that will accelerate adoption, business value realization, and growth in the install base
- Build models and business cases to test a hypothesis and/or simulate a scenario
- Evangelize evidence-based decision making by partnering with key decision makers and driving general accessibility of data and insights
- Assimilate, validate, and enrich structured and unstructured data between Salesforce.com, Looker, Gainsight, Pendo, and Excel
- Transform complex stakeholder requirements into the production of a sustainable and scalable analytics that inform decision making and changing course of action
- 5+ years Data science or engineering experience doing data science or quantitative analysis, with preferred experience in settings with multiple consumer user types, such as a marketplace or productivity or collaboration tools.
- A passion for the customer success and experience and the role it plays in making a customer-centric team successful
- Expertise in at least one programming language for data analysis (e.g. Python, R, Scala)
- Comfortable and skilled at written and verbal communication to varied audiences
- Experience in building advanced data pipelines and designing data scheme and table infrastructure

Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications.
LogicMonitor also offers many competitive elements in our total compensation package for US employees, such as a bonus, MBO, or commission compensation in addition to the base pay, an equity program, 401K matching, and other rewards.
Expected Base Salary Range
$115,000—$159,220 USD
