All:in Austin - Panel discussion on Diversity in the Workplace, Feb. 20 at 5 p.m.

Bazaarvoice will host All:in Austin’s first event on Tuesday. The evening will include a panel discussion on diversity in the workplace, featuring Shanaz Hemmati, the CIO and co-founder of zenbusiness.com, Ezinne Udezue, the senior director of product at Bazaarvoice, Anita Dodia, the senior director of software engineering at HomeAway, and Travis Baker, a recruitment manager and people advocate at Duo Security. Drinks and networking will follow the discussion.

 

Austin Music Tech Monthly Meetup, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m.

The Austin Music Tech Monthly Meetup will take place this Tuesday at Capital Factory. Entrepreneurs, developers, investors, service firms, music industry pros and anyone looking to take music to the next level through technology should attend. Network with others interested in making Austin music startups better, learn about new technologies affecting music and collaborate on the next music tech startup.

 

How To Build & Contribute To A Winning Team, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m.

Head to Favor’s headquarters this Wednesday for Team Austin’s panelist discussion on building a highly effective team. The evening’s speakers will include Favor’s CEO and President Jag Bath, Phunware’s CEO and co-founder Alan S. Knitowski, EverlyWell’s CEO and founder Julia Cheek, Kendra Scott’s brand director Cheryl Mills-Knight, and moderator Royal Frasier, who is director of communications at Notley Ventures.

 

Girl Day UT: Get Makey With It, Feb. 24 at 12 p.m.

Join ChickTech Austin this Saturday at UT’s Chemical and Petroleum Engineering building for Girl Day. Over 8,000 K-8 students are expected to attend this year’s event, which will include more than 150 hands-on activities and demonstrations that explore engineering, science, math, and technology.
