An evening of Python Coding, March 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Grab your laptop and head to Galvanize this Tuesday evening for the Austin Python Meetup. Coders of all levels are encouraged to attend. Feel free to bring a current project or come to consult with other Python coders in the Austin community. This session will focus on text classification with mycroft.

 

Austin Music Tech Monthly Meetup, March 20 at 7 p.m.

The Austin Music Tech Monthly Meetup will take place this Tuesday night on the 16th floor at Capital Factory. Entrepreneurs, developers, investors, service firms, music industry pros and anyone with a passion for tech and music are encouraged to attend. Network with others interested in improving Austin music startups, learn about technologies affecting the industry and plan the next great music tech company.

 

Feminist Hack ATX Power Hour, March 21 at 6 p.m.

Feminist Hack ATX will meet at Red Horn Coffee House and Brewing Co. in Cedar Park for this month’s power hour event. This is a meet and greet and networking happy hour event inclusive to all genders. No need for a laptop; this event is strictly a social gathering.

 

Entrepreneurship Live! with Steven Blustein of PrideBites, March 21 at 6 p.m.

Herb Kelleher Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas will host Steven Blustein, founder of PrideBites, for this live broadcast of TexTalks. Head to the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center to hear how Blustein went from a regular college kid to pitching on Shark Tank to leading his current company. 

 

AnitaB.Org Austin Talk: How to Move into Technical Architecture, March 21 at 6:30 p.m.

The AnitaB.Org Austin Meetup will feature guest speaker Shirley Cohen a this Wednesday’s event. Cohen, a senior data architect at Rackspace, will share how she became a technical architect — and best practices for others hoping to become one as well.
