Women Who Code Austin’s Tech Talk at Civitas Learning, April 23 at 6:30 p.m.

Join Women Who Code Austin at edtech firm Civitas Learning this Monday evening for the organization’s monthly tech talk. This session will include a discussion on microservices. Food and drinks will be provided courtesy of Civitas.

 

Social Innovators’ Think Global, Act Local - Global Goals 101, April 24 at 6 p.m.

Head to Impact Hub Austin this Tuesday for Social Innovators’ interactive discussion on the 17 Global Goals. In 2015, these goals were agreed upon by leaders and citizens across the globe to address issues like climate change, education, responsible production and more. Tuesday’s session will mark the beginning of a crowdsourced effort to develop the second version of The Austin Social Innovation Ecosystem Map.

 

Feminist Hack ATX Power Hour, April 25 at 6 p.m.

Feminist Hack ATX will host its next power hour event at Radio Coffee and Beer in South Austin. The evening consists of a happy hour and meet and greet. Please don’t bring your laptop, as these power hour events are strictly for socializing and networking. All genders are welcome.

 

FUND Conference, April 26 at 8 a.m.

Entrepreneurs, investors, tech pros and members of growth stage startups are invited to attend the inaugural FUND Conference in Austin on Thursday for an all-day event. The conference will be held at the Fairmont Hotel and include lunch with the purchase of a ticket. More than 50 speakers will present, and the event will also feature 100 emerging startups seeking funding.

 

Weconnect Austin Startup and Tech Networking Mixer powered by Google, April 26 at 6 p.m.

Weconnect, a growing national networking organization supporting the tech and startup industries, will host a power mixer at Hotel Indigo Austin Downtown. Those looking to build their network are encouraged to attend.
