Weekly Refresh: Leafly’s New Austin Office, Molecula Raises $6M

Seattle-based cannabis company, Leafly, sets up an engineering and product hub in Austin. According to the Austin Business Journal, Leafly now has more than 30 employees in Austin. Leafly CEO Tim Leslie chose Austin to set up its third outside office due to “its wealth of talent, burgeoning technology scene and culture of innovation,” according to a statement. Molecula, whose technology helps companies process data faster, raised $6 million to expand its market reach. The technology, which uses data virtualization and was discovered by accident, is used by more than 1,800 companies around the world. [Built In Austin]
