New York startup AfterShokz will make a new home in Austin. AfterShokz makes headphones that conduct sound by vibrating the bones in your face — so there are no earbuds involved. The company announced this week it will move its headquarters to Austin’s, uh, bone-a-fide tech scene. [Built In Austin]

Artificial intelligence company KungFu.AI added to its leadership team. The company, which helps enterprises apply AI to product development, brought on notable futurist Nancy Giordano part-time, appointed Dwayne Stoltz as head of operations and client service and promoted Steve Meier to chief creative officer. Icon Technologies will help decrease homelessness with 3D-printed houses. Icon will print six homes at Community First Village, a community for formerly homeless people in Northeast Austin. Buckle up: Austin startup Future Proof is launching its own hard seltzer line called Brizzy. The company formerly known as BeatBox will take on the basically-omnipresent White Claw in the battle for millennials’ attention, armed with shorter, beer-sized cans and flavors reminiscent of craft cocktails. The new line of mule-, mojito- and mimosa-inspired drinks are just 100 calories. [Austin Business Journal]
