About the role
In this role, you will work all aspects of the sales cycle: researching, outreach, qualification, presenting and closing business. Working consultatively with senior decision-makers at higher ed institutions, your skills in building trust, listening critically, and navigating complex challenges will be key. You'll also work collaboratively with the wider sales team and ReUp leadership to continuously refine and scale up our sales strategies. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that develops new opportunities and builds a strong pipeline through sales prospecting techniques and targeting abilities, manages multiple opportunities simultaneously, networks at a senior level and represents our mission with the utmost integrity. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales & University Partnerships and will cultivate and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities.

What you'll do
Lead generation (Top of Funnel)
- Develop a pipeline of leads and forecast sales activity in your assigned territory
- Work collaboratively with your Business Development Representative to generate an outbound pipeline
- Create detailed business plans to achieve individual and company goals
- Identify new sales opportunities and convert them into successful partnerships
Sales process management
- Actively pursue professional development opportunities (Examples: attend educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies)
- Continually track sales forecasts, activities, and pipelines in Salesforce to monitor progress and adapt sales activities to achieve goals
- Manage complex contract negotiations, working with the CFO and legal counsel
- Provide regular account and opportunity reviews for sales team leadership
Travel Requirements
- Travel: Ability to travel 20% of the time to industry conferences (some back-to-back), client-facing visits, company retreats, and occasional in-person team meetings
Thought Leadership & Process Improvement
- Refine and evolve our messaging and sales techniques by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
- Maintain and update sales collateral, including product overviews, pitch decks, basic screencast videos, customer proposals, etc.
- Leverage social media, thought-leadership materials, and content to create inroads with potential clients
- Represent ReUp at relevant industry conferences
Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years in enterprise sales
- EdTech experience a big plus and/or having established connections in higher education
- Proven experience to drive strategic sales cycles and close business within assigned territory
- Success in closing long-term deals by aligning multiple decision-makers in a complex or tiered organization
- Experience in creating sales narratives capable of addressing potential objectives
- Must have experience in Salesforce or similar CRM
- A growth mindset toward continuous improvement and collaboration with teammates to share best practices and refine a scalable sales process
- Intermediate to Advanced experience using GSuite, Microsoft Office

What does success look like?
- Within 90 days:

- You will have built a robust pipeline with the help of your Business Development Representative based on your territory
- You will be efficient at communicating ReUp's value proposition to stakeholders and prospective partners in the adult learner ecosystem
- You will have a developed and well-optimized business process that enables you to target the right prospects, manage concurrent deals, and take full ownership of your established territory
- You will be able to clearly identify and qualify ICP leads and prospects
- You will have a definitive grasp of the sales process and be able to implement appropriately

Location
ReUp is a remote organization with a geographically distributed team. This position will be based remotely in one of the states listed:AL, AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, MO, NC, NH, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA and WI.

110,000 - 115,000 USD per year ( Remote - United States )
