Do you love to write?  Is your idea of success influencing brand perception and educating customers?  Then this is the job for you!  WorldFirst is looking for a prolific wordsmith and talented content creator. A successful content marketer and writer will write and produce various projects (including the blog) regularly, to expand our company’s footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads.

This role requires a high level of creativity, a dedication to metrics and reporting, and project management skills. We are looking for a talented individual with 3+ years’ experience in content production and an interest in financial markets. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Brand and Communications.

Examples of Key responsibilities:

  • Generate content with the specific objective of making a meaningful and measurable impact to regional brand awareness (consistently finding new opportunities for expanding our reach).
  • Produce content and communications to enable clients to progress through the customer journey and support the CRM channel.
  • Create and manage a calendar of regular content outputs – from regular blogs, to in-depth white papers to target priority customer segments, including SMBs, online sellers and private clients.
  • Collaborate with designers, partnerships, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience.
  • Understand what variables may affect currency exchange markets and have the ability to articulate what it means for our prospects, partners and clients.
  • Write daily and weekly updates covering the currency exchange markets for our client base.
  • Provide copywriting and proofreading support to the Marketing Team and wider business.
  • Brainstorm with the wider marketing team to generate ideas and creative concepts.
  • Research, gather data and analyze financial markets to create content to support our goal of being a thought leader in the international payments space.

Key Capabilities:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
  • Past experience producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, social, email campaigns, PR, etc.)
  • Expert at efficient research, writing, and editing with a keen eye for detail.
  • Past experience building audiences either online or offline.
  • Working knowledge of Wordpress, Social Channels, and Eloqua.
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but are also process-driven and rely on data to make decisions. You must measure all efforts and prove through data, in everything you do, whether your work is either failing or succeeding at generating trials, feature adoption, and meaningful education.
  • Clear understanding of tone and possess the ability to quickly adapt your writing style to the WorldFirst brand.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate with cross-functional department stakeholders, and meet clear deadlines.
  • Last, but not least, always possess a positive attitude!

Salary and benefits:

  • Competitive salary and annual performance-based bonus and health cover
  • Excellent benefits package including medical, dental, and vision benefits, generous PTO policy, 401K contribution, monthly contests/awards
  • Great perks including free breakfast, Friday drinks fridge, bi-annual company parties, team nights out and WorldPerks for exclusive employee discounts.
