Responsibilities:

  • Manage the successful execution of complex Workday Benefits projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, enrollment timelines, and organizational goals.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior client executives, guiding benefits transformation initiatives and shaping system roadmaps aligned with evolving business and compliance needs.

  • Lead, coach, and develop consulting teams across multiple client engagements, fostering delivery excellence, collaboration, and capability growth.

  • Oversee engagement governance, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource planning, while proactively mitigating risks and resolving escalations.

  • Provide executive oversight on all aspects of Workday Benefits configuration, such as plan setup, eligibility rules, life events, open enrollment, and other benefit plan designs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational requirements.

  • Collaborate across modules and third-party systems (e.g., Payroll, Insurance Carriers, COBRA administrators) to ensure seamless integration and operational alignment.

  • Support business development by contributing to account growth, leading benefits-focused pre-sales strategy, and participating in proposals and client presentations.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in benefits administration, HCM consulting, or enterprise systems, with 5+ years of hands-on Workday Benefits experience.

  • Proven success leading end-to-end Workday Benefits implementations, including configuration, testing, enrollment events, and carrier integration.

  • Deep understanding of benefits regulations (ACA, HIPAA, COBRA), plan structures, eligibility rules, and data exchange requirements.

  • Strong leadership and project delivery skills, with experience scaling consulting teams and managing concurrent client engagements.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with a track record of influencing senior business leaders.

  • Strategic mindset and operational awareness to ensure system design aligns with HR, compliance, and business needs.

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
