ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Aceable marketing team is looking for an outstanding undergraduate student to join us for a part time (20-25 hours per week) internship. In this role, you will assist with various tasks and projects in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media, and Search Marketing (PPC). You should be comfortable supporting multiple team members, and will be expected to take the initiative to help us hit our ambitious targets. You won’t be getting us coffee; you will be helping us launch our next course.

Aceable is a mobile education platform that focuses on creating affordable, engaging and convenient educational content across all devices. Built by former teachers, NASA engineers, and those passionate about education, the Austin-based team is obsessed with helping people with life’s certification challenges. After launching its first mobile app to provide accredited driver’s ed courses, Aceable is now expanding into other verticals for required education. To date, Aceable touts more than 400,000 users and counting, as it continues to expand nationwide.

ABOUT YOUR NEW TEAM

The marketing team is made up of nine cold-brew drinking strategists who love to obsess over conversion rates and landing page fonts. We’re excited to find someone who can jump in immediately and dazzle us with their ideas and energy.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Coordinate communication with our team of contract writers to assign out weekly assignments
• Maintain and organize the marketing content calendar to ensure posts are scheduled out and received in a timely manner
• Use Wordpress to proofread, format, optimize and publish ~8 blog posts per week to the Aceable and AceableAgent blog sites using both HTML and Markdown
• Brainstorm, research and contribute content ideas to support marketing team goals
• Maximize content performance by updating and republishing evergreen content
• Create long-form content with the end goal of creating new high-value links
• Create shareable short-form content suitable for blog posts that will engage our readers
• Support the creation of strategic content that assists paid marketing, business development, social media, email marketing and SEO initiatives
• Support marketing team in other areas (public relations, surprise and delight campaigns, events etc.) as needed
