Rooster Teeth’s 2D Animation Department is looking for a skilled Production Coordinator to join our ever growing team. Working on properties such as Camp Camp, RTAA, the newly announced Nomad of Nowhere, and several other projects, we are a team of hardworking individuals who take pride in every step of our pipelines. Responsibilities:

• Assist with communication between departments within the pipeline
• Help manage, track, and organize tasking for artists in various departments
• Utilize production software to track various types of assets and shots throughout production
• Self-assess progress and utilize time management techniques to meet deadlines and milestones
• Communicate honestly, effectively, and respectfully with creative staff, production staff, cast, and crew
• Prepare all necessary assets for out-of-house contractors
• Organize assets received from out-of-house contractors and implement into production software following established protocols
• Gather and implement shot and asset data within established software for tracking
• Perform note-taking responsibilities during reviews with all departments

Qualifications:

• Position is for an in-house production coordinator at our Austin studio; candidates must either live in/near Austin, Tx or be willing to relocate quickly
• 1-3 years of experience in the entertainment industry, ideally in animation
• Ability to follow directions with strong attention to detail and ask probing questions when further clarification is needed
• Strong organization, communication, and time management skills
• Desire and ability to further improve skills and technique
• Strong will and self-motivation to complete tasks on time
• Work well within a small team
• Familiarity with Shotgun and Microsoft Office Suite a plus
