Rooster Teeth Animation is looking to hire an Editor/Colorist to join our team, and have the opportunity to work with both 2D and 3D animated content. The animation department at RT has long been a driving force within the company, creating such shows as RWBY, Red vs. Blue, Camp Camp, and RWBY Chibi.

Responsibilities:

• Color grading content for release across multiple platforms
• Assembling animatics for animated content
• Searching for and selecting temp music and sfx
• Keeping projects up to date with latest playblasts from all departments
• Creating supplementary graphics
• Exporting and QC of final content deliverables
• Sourcing and occasionally repackaging archived content for outside vendors

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to take instruction well, with keen attention to detail
• Must be self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to complete tasks on time
• Strong interest in narrative storytelling and pacing
• Experience with Shotgun (or similar production tracking software) is preferred
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve or equivalent
• Comfortable working knowledge of codecs and audio/video compression
• Experience authoring BluRays/DVDs a plus
• On-set production experience working with cameras and lighting a plus
