Position Summary

As a Growth Content Associate at Wheel, you help craft content campaign strategies and optimize communication processes that drive telehealth clinician and telehealth company conversion content from top of the funnel through ongoing retention and engagement. 

Content strategy & production: This generalist role will support the Content Lead in developing conversion-oriented content for landing pages, email campaigns, newsletters, our blogs, and the Wheel website.

Clinician communication process optimization: This role will also work cross-functionally with Recruitment, Supply Ops, Medical, and Product teams to develop internal processes, automation and strategies to optimize clinician communication across all channels — including within the Wheel product.

Performance optimization & analysis: You’ll also work closely with Growth Marketing to analyze content and communication performance within Google Analytics, HubSpot, and SEM Rush, as well as conduct research to reveal opportunities via SEO keyword research, competitive analysis, and other analysis tactics. 

This role will touch all points in the customer journey, and pairs creative and empathetic copywriting with analytical, data-oriented assessment, and detective-like research skills to reveal competitive barriers and opportunities for the Wheel brand.

Responsibilities

- Writing, optimizing, and project managing short-form conversion content including, but not limited to: landing pages, blog posts, email correspondence and nurture campaigns, newsletters, training materials, web copy, and webinar outlines

- Collaborating with the Content Lead and Growth Marketing team to devise new content themes, formats, or campaigns that drive conversion

- Journey-mapping the clinician and company experience with the Content Lead to improve and optimize the brand touchpoints — through external communication and internal processes

- Assessing Wheel content and website performance while researching competitive brand strategies to devise SEO content ideas, A/B testing ideas, and communication angles

- Developing framework for web and content performance assessment with Content Lead and Growth Marketing team

- Managing operations requests related to clinician communications 

- Managing an editorial calendar within Airtable

- Writing and content management within a CMS and Hubspot

- Production and deployment of content within a CMS and Hubspot

- Shared accountability for SEO performance through website content development and management, keyword research, optimization, analytics and reporting

- A relentless focus on understanding the customer mindset at different points in their journey to drive conversion

- Close collaboration with cross-functional teams at Wheel, including Supply Ops, Medical, Growth Marketing, and Product to ensure communications are driving business goals forward, as well as engaging users with a brand experience that’s second-to-none 

- This role may also support the Content Lead with sales, demand gen and business development content and performance analytics as and if needed

Qualifications

- 2-4 years of experience writing, developing, and optimizing digital content for a highly-skilled audience

- Research and analytical skills for optimizing existing content and devising new conversion strategies

- Broad writing experience reflected within a portfolio of different content types

- An understanding of the marketing funnel and how content achieves goals from the top of the funnel through bottom funnel and retention content

- A solid understanding of writing for the web, including SEO keyword research and targeting, calls to action, use of headlines and subheads, etc.

- High-quality standards and a bias towards action within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization

- An exceptional eye for detail paired with an insatiable curiosity and fearlessness to try new things 

- A positive, open-minded team player excited to work within a work-hard play-hard team 

- Excitement about the future of virtual care and the intersection of healthcare and technology

- Healthcare experience needed
