Content Specialist, Sales and Marketing

The Sales Enablement Content Specialist will work cross functionally with EZ Texting’s Customer and Marketing teams to conceptualize, develop, write, edit, publish, and distribute content such as email campaigns, one pagers, marketing site updates, pitch deck slides, customer satisfaction surveys, customer resources, and other materials to address sales objections and customer challenges.
The ideal candidate has experience developing content marketing materials to support sales efforts and has a demonstrable track record in SaaS and/or B2B marketing.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with a top-performing sales team to take real-time learnings and sales strategy pivots and update content to reflect positioning and messaging changes.
Execute an entire sales enablement content strategy, supporting inbound and outbound leads throughout the customer journey to adoption and advocacy. Analyze and report on content performance metrics.
Understand the needs of specific customer segments, use cases and industries, and create high-quality, professional, engaging content responding to those needs.
Utilize product positioning to develop messaging relevant to a target customer.
Collaborate with the content marketing team as a whole to execute various company-wide initiatives. Partner with product marketing team on go-to-market plans.
Develop a deep understanding of both the technology and its uses, and be able to translate the capabilities and benefits of the product to a non-technical audience.
Qualifications:
BA preferred: Communications, Marketing, or similar concentration.
Minimum 3 yrs experience in marketing. Bonus points for B2B and SaaS experience.
Excellent grammar and writing ability.
Some design and photo editing skills.
Must have experience working closely with sales and customer teams.
Knowledge of: Salesforce, Adobe Photoshop/InDesign, Drupal or another CMS, JIRA or another project management software.
Functional understanding of SEO tactics.
Able to effectively establish and manage priorities.
