Job Summary

If you pride yourself on staying on the cutting edge of social media and today’s digital landscape, you’ll love learning and growing in your career at Real Chemistry. We are seeking a content strategist focused on content ideation, planning and development, with a focus on social channels.

Responsibilities

• Own/manage an editorial calendar for clients/brands including content strategy, planning and copywriting for integrated client programs and campaigns.

• Partner with account teams to deliver content assets that are coherent with brand and/or company key messages and insights

• Interpret digital and social media data to help inform content optimizations and recommendations and to ensure an audience-first content approach.

• Understand and utilize client brand guidelines to perfect tone across social platforms.

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of today's top social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, you name it); knowledge of other digital channels is a plus

• Partner with creative teams to communicate compelling, engaging, and fresh digital and social media content for our pharma clients.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1-4 years of experience in social media, ideally in a regulated industry (such as biotech or pharmaceutical or financial)

• College degree (BA or equivalent)

• Demonstrated proficiency in social media, personally and/or professionally

• Highly organized, mindful of deadlines, able to multi-task and work under limited supervision

• Experience collaborating effectively internally and externally as part of an integrated team

• Detail-oriented, well-organized professional who performs with a sense of urgency, and stays on schedule and on budget

• Outstanding written and oral communications and presentation skills

• Expert in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint

• Agency experience in a client-facing role preferred

• Understanding of the FDA regulations guiding social media efforts for biotech and pharma clients a plus.
