About the Position

The Content Strategist at Membersy will be responsible for cultivating and growing the marketing content calendar to help drive traffic, generate leads, and grow revenue for an agile and growing company. One of Membersy’s biggest marketing initiatives going into 2023 is driving content creation and customer engagement.

As a Content Strategist at Membersy, you will:

• Cultivate content marketing strategies targeted at driving traffic, engagement, generating leads, delivering sales, retaining customers, and building brand awareness. 
• Create, adjust, and manage content calendar for the Membersy blog and social media channels
• Develop clear and engaging content, including case studies, ebooks, webinars, etc. that are consistent with the Membersy brand voice
• Work with subject matter experts and internal resources to draft and create content used across all channels
• Develop a solid understanding of the target audience through online and traditional research
• Track content performance and advance the editorial calendar to apply data-driven insights to future content campaigns and strategies
• Manage deliverables with third party publications to ensure Membersy is effectively using paid sponsor placements
• Continuously seek out PR opportunities to increase brand awareness and thought leadership within the industry
• Work closely with Art Director and Associate Graphic Designer to ensure content assets are aligned with the Membersy brand and style guidelines

What we're looking for in a highly qualified candidate:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
• 2-5 years experience with digital marketing functions including SEO, Content Marketing, Social Media Marketing, E-mail Marketing and PPC Marketing
• Proven content strategy and project management experience
• Skilled at writing and copy editing, including writing in different voices and styles, for a variety of target audiences.
• Experience with Hubspot
• Experience with design tools, such as Canva
• Strong content presentation skills
• Must reside in the great Austin metro area
• Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the US without employer sponsorship
