We're looking for a dynamic Copywriter to join our Creative team in the Marketing as a Service department. This is an integral position within a high-performance, fast-paced team, and will require strong industry knowledge of copy best practices in email, web, social, blog content, and SEO-structured copywriting for marketing campaigns, emails and site content.


You will be reporting to the VP, Creative Strategy and Production and will work collaboratively with the copywriting team to support UX/UI, brand, design, product and PR teams for clients of all sizes. Our ideal candidate is a spirited self-starter and relentlessly creative, with experience in writing a variety of content promotional copy for merchandising campaigns, and able to navigate competing priorities to ensure that our high-value clients get optimal results

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit compelling, concise and highly readable copy for marketing campaigns, emails and site content
  • Design copy that will drive user response, enhance the online experience, promote key offerings and support brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop copy that will drive traffic and improve conversion of email campaigns, paid social, landing pages, etc.
  • Develop and produce content that incorporates SEO content scoring recommendations for maximum impact
  • Create and follow established style guides including brand voice and tonality

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional copywriter experience for marketing and content
  • Understanding of interactive writing, channel features and constraints and effective digital communication
  • Ability to move fluently between branded content marketing and conversion-driving web merchandising writing styles
  • Must have knowledge of simple HTML markup elements
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, oral, written)
  • Experience managing multiple projects to prioritize deadlines and deliverables with grace

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
