eLearning Content Developer
SailPoint is looking for a creative, high energy Elearning Developer to join our technical training team. The position is primarily focused on the creation, authoring, editing and posting of elearning content and secondarily, instructor-led training content. This position includes responsibilities with our Learning Management System (LMS) and other tools used for the creation and delivery of our training. Additionally, this team member needs the technical skills to learn enterprise software well enough to record demonstrations and interface with technical subject matter experts for content creation. Primary duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
- Produce interactive eLearning course materials from existing educational content
- Record and produce software product demos for inclusion in courses
- Record and produce audio voice over for elearning courses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to successfully create online interactive learning products
- Utilize a variety of software, development platforms, and multimedia tools to develop eLearning and virtual instructor-led courses
- Design interactive features that are visually appealing and support learner’s understanding of content
- Research and apply emerging technologies and instructional design strategies to enhance delivery methods
- Post and maintain training materials in the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Provide thorough and detailed quality assurance of all course material
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement recommendations
Skills
- Comfortable with exploring, learning, and mastering a wide variety of software applications
- Good sense of aesthetics/design
- Ability to multi-task and balance multiple ongoing projects with specified timelines while meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of eLearning authoring tools such as Camtasia and Articulate or similar multimedia development tools or programs
- Equally comfortable working collaboratively and independently
- Understanding of Instructional Design Principles
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent English-language verbal and written communication skills with superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in one of the established Learning Management Systems (LearnDot Enterprise highly preferred)
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Technologies, Multi-Media Technology, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered
Minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience preparing and publishing multimedia content using authoring tools such as Articulate (preferred), Camtasia, or Captive
