Rooster Teeth’s facilities department is looking for a qualified individual to manage our production equipment. This position reports to the Facility Manager and has direct oversight over maintenance and upkeep of our production equipment, as well as booking equipment reservations. This position is a full-time permanent position at Rooster Teeth.

This ideal individual will have a comfortable background in film production equipment. The best candidate will assist departments in checking out the equipment with our reservation system, gathering the equipment, receiving and checking the equipment back in, and returning it to it’s place on the shelves. The candidate should always have an eager need to help other departments. The goal for the equipment is professional, tidy, and always ready to rock.

Responsibilities:

• Checks out and receives returned equipment
• Schedules bookings with vendors when outside rentals are necessary
• Maintains an organized and visually appealing equipment storage and workshop
• Educates others through periodic mini-classes on proper equipment techniques, policies, and procedures
• Consults on equipment purchases and decisions regarding repairs
• Schedules and oversees equipment maintenance Is comfortable with set visits to troubleshoot problems
• May also be tapped by Facilities for vendor coordination and facility upkeep tasks
• Assists the Facilities department when needed
• Ability to stay late or come in early at times to help facilitate equipment returns/pickups/hand-offs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or significant related experience
• 2-3 years film production experience
• Must have knowledge of Red Digital Cinema products and competitors (ARRI Alexa, Blackmagic, Canon, etc)
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must laugh at our jokes and love using Giphy
• Always looking forward at ways to improve yourself, and the environment around you
• Experience at a rental house is a plus
